..and just as good news is that a new film of Lewis Grassic Gibbon's Sunset Song is being shot. One of my favourite books. I wonder how 'doric' the script will be - subtitles required as in when coming across a face you know but can't quite place...

Looks like it should be good. I went to school with the lad playing young Tom. He's a good guy and has been in a few things, should be a good watch.

Looking forward to it, I really enjoyed the book. It'll be nice to see St Andrews in film but I'll be mighty miffed if my ball lands in a divot created by a camera rig.

Cant see the budget apart from £400k from Creative Scotland which will just about cover the catering costs:smirk:

I'm hoping for something of the excellent quality of The Greatest Game Ever Played. Pity they didn't get the golf swings more authentic in that one though.
