....... is currently 9 under through 11 in Denmark with a short par 4 next and still a couple of par 5s to come. This has the potential to be something special although i have probably given it the kiss of death by posting this.

Must be playing pretty easy - 5 under doesn't even get you in the top 10 at the moment...
Lowry must be wondering what he's doing wrong...

Just saw this, Toms a member at my club, lets hope he can keep it up for 4 rounds, sadly of late he generally throws a stinker in in rd 2 or 3.

yeah right...... youll be trying to convince us Nick Faldo was your club champ once too!

11 under thru 15 .... not the best shot into the Par 3 though!

playing Nike now too, wasn't he Ping a few years ago?

Watching it today on the new SkySportsMix channel, which appears to be a freebie on my Virgin box .... and from the preview the upcoming F1 will be free too this weekend.

Not a lot of evidence of Faldo's membership when I played it a few months ago - though plenty of Tom Lewis paraphernalia! I believe there may have been a 'falling out' - the story I heard was that it was about his entitlement, as a Junior member, to be 'Club Champion'!

Enjoyable course though - and notable service by, apparently, another potential star afterwards!

59 appears to have fizzled out ... back to 10 under on the last now.

Cross handed chipping technique ?

That was a shame but a good ride. Think that cross handed chipping action cost him at the par five, although it was a devilishly hard shot with no green and plenty of slope to affect it. The cross hand, as mentioned in commentary, seemed to take any high shot out of the equation. Close but no cigar Mister Lewis but a fine effort

You didn't notice the 8x4 Nick Faldo honours board in the entrance then, or drink in Faldos bar or spot the claret jug (replica) in the lounge. :whoo:

Actually, I do remember noticing the honours board - and thinking that was the only mention of him. So 'No' for the other 2. And i did wonder whether it was 'in honour of him' or had been provided by him!

Not quite sure whether naming a bar after him is actually a compliment/honour either !
