So, we have thunder & lightening threatened for this morning, is anyone already experiencing it? Its supposed to hit us here in the Midlands between 9am - 10am and then be heavy rain through to 1pm! Just great for my 10am tee-time :angry:

So what's the weather like in your area NOW?

Mine here is calm, patchy clouds with blue gaps but some dark stuff moving in, but its currently dry and no sign of fireworks?

Same here fish.11.00 at atherstone, might need a Brolley today. Think we're all gonna get wet at some point today.
 
Wow, what a change in just a few minutes, gone pitch black at the back of house and rumbles of thunder. Skies still light and bright at the front but the back looks scary! Hoping it might stay to the west of us and travel up North West of the country :smirk:

Same here, big black cloud over coventry, that can do one
 
It's dry in coventry at 20 to 8 but I have heard some thunder. Not getting wet today though as I'm not playing until our open tomorrow.
 
Big storm right over us now, thunder and lightning , big heavy drops of rain and by the rain radar worst still to come. Can't see course bring open if this carries on.

I think its skirted us then, unless that's just the advance party? Everything was dark and thundery looking to the west so I think its travelling up the west side of the country, although its supposed to hit Derby in an hour which would mean its passed us :mmm:
 
Beautiful in Midlothian this morning, some high cloud but bright and sunny on the whole. Early afternoon before we're supposed to see rain and fireworks.
 
Just had/having a shower and light rain - as forecast! Sunny bits are also forecast, so hope theres plenty of that too.

Won't be my most enjoyable journey to Brocket Hall, but always a pleasure! I'm acting as courier - taking my mate's newly purchased I25 Driver to him, so no crying off either. Could make the already 'slippery' greens even more-so! The 'flaps down' Goretex cap is likely to get another outing!
 
Courses just north of me by only a few miles (15mins) at Hollywood and Enville are closed, and yet still nothing here, I reckon its hiding and just as I get on the 1st tee at 10am, its gonna get me :angry:
 
Forecast looks like the main part is going to be sweeping straight though Lancashire from 9am onwards (tee time is 8.50)!

Start the defence of the pairs trophy I won last year with bro-in-law today. Can see this first round getting called off (like it did last year) and replayed in a few weeks.

Worst of it's gone by you now by looks of radar, might get a shower later on ;)
