Today sums it up...

Played 9 holes at lunch time, was playing fairly well, not striking the ball brilliantly but scoring ok... Course was wet so therefore playing a big long!!!

Was +4 through 6..... Then doubled 7, 8, & 9...... Finished level par for my handicap but frustrating all the same :angry:

Thats just golf for you. You'll have felt loads better if you doubled 1,2&3 and finished +4 for the last 6 as well

Always the same. I hate walking off the last with a double (or worse). Leaves a nasty taste and tends to taints any good golf that has gone before
