It's my daughters birthday. It's bloody freezing. Log fires spitting and cracking away. Me trees up, magic Christmas is on telly and Tashyboy is chillin. Only heard fairytale of Mew York once.
At this mo am just feeling the love.
just feels like it's not to early and not to late.

I had roast turkey with all the trimmings for lunch.. It deffo feels like Xmas as I am struggling to stay awake at 6pm!

I went and bought the wife's birthday & Christmas presents so it definitely feels like Xmas, I'm broke ☹

Just not feeling it at all this year. Usually love Christmas and can only put it down to losing our special boy Max in October and feeling downright sad about that :(

Plus family spread even more far and wide this year. Hopefully the week before will get me in the mood.

Went round to a pals yesterday and his dog was all over me. Brought back good memories. He/ we were on about the dogs we had lost over the years. We both agreed that the pain of losing them overshadowed the years of joy they brought us. Then we both agreed that should not be the case. I was laughing whilst telling me pal rosco, how Pedro (our boxer) used to walk up to Missis tash and drop his head on her lap and want his head stroked whilst he fell asleep. Not thought about that for years. The happy day memories of Max will soon outweigh the sad days Amanda me duck.

Thanks Tashyboy. Every day he made me smile, melted my heart and that makes this pain worth it...a very special boy. We do get comfort from talking about him and laughing and looking at photos of the handsome lad :-)

A bit of a misquote from the film "The Last Samurai" but I was once asked how he died, and I replied "I'll tell you how he lived."

As for Christmas, I love it! I even like the cheesey music in the shops at this time of year.

Just got back from a weekend in Manchester. How do the sky's hold that much flippin water. Had an excellent night on the lash in the Christmas market and a lovely day shopping getting wet once more.
loadsa Crimbo shopping done.
