Have got a game arranged for this afternoon. Forecast is 25 mph winds with gusts of 45mph.

would you play in that, or am I being a bit daft thinking of going out in those conditions?

Give it a whirl! Look at it this way - you'll either be hitting it short or bombing it miles out there depending on what direction you're going in.

Played in it myself. Wasn't easy, but OK

Played yesterday on my own and shot my lowest ever score. The wind was howling so hard my drives directly into it weren't even going 200 yards. I looked like McIlroy when it was behind me though.

Had short game tuition today. Cold and the wind made it interesting and highlighted the flaky technique until we got it sorted

Played in similar yesterday afternoon. Lost on 18 despite playing 8 under handicap. Played 9 holes this pm too. Cold wind but only 4 over gross for 9 holes. Wind doesn't seem to be an issue......😝⛳️🏌
