So tonight is my regular practice round night, in West Yorkshire it is currently bucketing it down. I have alot of new things to take from my lesson and try on the course, do I take my medicene and realise I am going to get to soaked to the skin - only got top half waterproofs and not umbrella or do I go home from work, and qualify for Q School on Tiger woods?

Choices choices choices.

It's been raining here in East Yorkshire all day. Sod's law it's on my day off :(. It's too miserable even to go to the range and try out my new wedges which arrived today :(

Personally I'd have retired to the range if it had been raining and worked on the drills and changes from the lessons

This, but I would say despite the rain I would of been at the range trying to hone the changes from your recent lesson.
My plan for tomorrow night and this weekend is practice only got some shoulder alignment issue and face closure positions to address from a lesson last night, felt good when I found it correctly 3/4 times in an hour! so many buckets of balls needed to try and start to get it ingrained.

Play. If we always let rain stop us we may as well hang up our clubs and quit. I'd recommend shorts. It's wet but not cold. Shorts will help because they won't stick to your legs like trousers would. Combine that with your waterproof top and take an umbrella. Put your spare gloves in plastic bags and keep a few towels in plastic bags in your bag to help dry grips etc. Better yet get a pair of rain gloves. Also bring a change of clothes and especially socks!!!*

Go out enjoy it."

*All things I wish I'd done today.

wise words indeed. shorts and rain jacket is a great combo for mizzely rain when its muggy.

I worked from home yesterday so I could get out and play late in the afternoon.
It wasnt just raining it was torrential. If it had been just a drizzle or showery I would have gone out. But when its heavy it is too much like hard work keeping everything dry.

Better to back off and go another day.
