To mend or not to mend

Favourite club in the bag at the moment is my 8 iron. Confident in hitting it and generally hit it well on reasonably regular basis - even off my handicap. But when you look at it closely, there's a very slight curve in the shaft. No idea how it got there and you do have to look closely. But it bugs the hell out of me. Dilemma is, do I get it repaired. Heart says yes, but head says no... What to do?

If you're hitting it well and were doing before noticing it then....it's not there, there's no imperfection. Forget about it and pull it out the bag like you would any of your other clubs.

Like you said, head says no. That's where half the battle, if not more, is won in golf.

I think rule 4-1b means its still ok to use.

And its definitely an "in the head" thing - it shouldn't bug me but it does.
