I've currently got demo 7 irons of PSi & RSi2, hit them at the range on Friday and PSi felt slightly better. Both clubs give reasonable forgiveness on off-centre hits and don't lose much distance but PSi just felt better/nicer.

If you were blindfold and did not know which one was which, could you honestly tell the difference? ;)

For what it is worth I have just changed to these and absolutely love them. That said I have changed from an ebay starter set of Wilson that cost £200 for the full shebang so would probably feel better with more or less any new club!

I haven't been playing that long (3 years), but the biggest thing(s) I have noticed with them is:
1. Improvement on what feels like off centre shots. I mean by "feels like" as with my HC (14) I can't be certain, but when it feels a bad shot you still get good distance and fairly decent accuracy.
2. The distance is a big improvement on what I had - again due to a starter set so more or less anything was going to be an improvement.

The point of my ramblings above - i suppose - is they will be a good option depending on what level you are at and what you have been playing with recently.

One thing to bear in mind, just incase you are not aware, is that TM clubs (certainly from what I looked at) are .5" longer than a lot of others (i measured them against the Callaway XR irons).

There a cracking set of clubs which 'im trying very hard not to switch to, Mark Crossfield couldn't tell the difference between them and Psi, i prefer his club reviews compared to Rick Shiels as just tries to smack the arse out of them.

Cheers lads

Have you tried the rsi tp Steve? I bought them and they are very good, great feel and plenty forgiveness, look lovely at address. I don't think there is much between them forgiveness wise and the rsi2.

I think you need a
New tape measure ...
TM RSi2 i7i is 36.75"
Callaway XR 7i is 37"

according to their respective websites. ;)

Walked past all the TM offerings in Silvermere on Thursday without feeling the need to go to the range. Felt really good with myself until I got to the putter section. Spent ages looking. Same with Vokey wedges but resisted temptation. Liking the look of the RSI TP. What are so good with these new offerings from TM? Did I miss a trick>

I have been fitted for a set, but waiting for the price to go down. Already down to around £400 a set at Clubhouse Golf and Snainton Golf, but the shafts are not for me.
