TM MC irons reduced

Probably will be similar price elsewhere. If not already, then soon.

But seems a very good price for some pretty good clubs if you are in the market for an off-the-shelf set!

Very good price that. Would have been tempted had I not got the titleists end of last year. I tried the older version of these and was impressed. Very nice clubs over all.

I've been looking at these irons for a while and trying to decide between them and the TM rsi2 irons. That price for the MC irons is tempting though.

I've never heard of fore24 before. I take it they are reputable?

Yes, definitely reputable. Part of SportsHQ (there are also other nnnHQs in the brand). Send out a daily email with an offer. They own Woodworm and Forgan (plus a few other) brands, so plenty of offers from those suppliers. Only thing slightly iffy is the occasional laughable MRPs quoted - £59 for AD333 Tours for example (offer was around £19 from memory).

I've spent quite a bit with them. Shipping occasionally late (spend the extra and go for Next Day - which can mean 2 days, depending on time of Order - is my recommendation) but they've refunded any claim I've made.

I've bought from them in the past with no problems. However, ordered the TM Aeroburner Mini Driver last week and have yet to be given an expected delivery date. Emailed them yesterday for an update but heard nothing. I'll ring them tomorrow.

Haha I don't need much encouragement, new irons will be bought before the end of the month. It's just whether it's these or the rsi2. Snainton has the rsi2 at £350 which seems to be a good price.

I bought a set of these in Dec as they were heavily reduced then too, and I dropped my 50 and 54 wedges and replaced them both with a 52 seen as the PW from the MC's is 47.

So I'm now the MC PW at 47 then a 52 gap and a 58 SW/LW.

my current irons have PW at 45 and SW at 55 which is the same as the rsi2 which would mean an easier transition with regards to set up. I have a 50 gap and 60 LW.

i could just buy a 54 SW replacement if I go for the MC irons.

have you had much chance to use them since December? If so, how are you finding them?

Sadly I can't give you much feedback as my only visit to the course in 2016 so far was 18 holes on 2nd January and it was a 3 day job afterwards to clean my shoes. There are rumours circulating that Noah has resigned because his ark has sunk...

Have had some lessons and visits to the driving range but won't really know what's what till the rain stops and I can get some course time in.
