Hi,
seen the offer from TM that if you are not happy with the extra loft when buying from SLDR family, they will give you your money back within 4 weeks of purchase. has anyone done this yet? might go get fitted and take it for a trial, if its not as good as i hope, i can just return back to the store. thoughts? Looking at the SLDR S if the loft is right

I'd check the T&Cs closely. I may be wrong, but I imagine they would need a bit more than 'I'm not happy with it', especially if they proved in a fitting that you were getting extra yards on top of your existing driver.

Nope :) If you don't trust that the club is delivering more distance and consistency after 30 days, you can return it. Simples.

Right off to try one then, if they give me grief when it doesnt work (I have had about 30 drivers in 3 years and none of them have after the 2 week honeymoon) I will just tell them Jimbob told me I could :)

yes, i read through all the T&Cs a few times to find a sneaky clause, but it seems that if your not happy, reurn it in a decent condition and full refund!!

Its only on drivers though.
I bought a HL 3 wood, didnt get on with it even though the fitting showed otherwise.
I enquired about returning and was told it was only on drivers.

Define decent condition then ;)

Well if the man from TM says you can just return it then fair play. Go for it, what have you to lose?

Also Mr TM representative, any idea how TM then get rid of the returned ones as I imagine there's a bargain to be had somewhere.

Honest answer is no, I don't know. However, I do know that the rate of return has been very low as people have seen the benefits after purchasing the SLDR.

Ask a silly question James.

Does the return offer cover people who are hitting it longer, but don't, for whatever reason, like/can't get on with the club?

Yes, I think it does. After all, feeling comfortable with a driver is massively important - if you want a 100% definite answer its best to speak to the shop you purchase from or the TM customer service guys.

That said, if you were hitting it consistently longer than your previous driver, why would you want to change back?

yes, i rerdt that if your not happy with the increase, either being to much or not enough, money back!

Maybe he just fancies trialling a new driver for a month....??......

Dear sir, I wish to complain about this driver. Previously I was lucky to get 210 yards, but this ones goes 280. So I want my money back post haste. ;)

Simple.

Longer on a good drive is fine, who wouldn't want that? But what about the bad drives?

Longer into the trees/cabbage/water/OOB might not suit everyone where a shorter drive may be less penal :D

Well you would question why they are using a driver and not a 3 wood in that case if they are more concerned with accuracy rather than length.;)
