hello all.
bought a #4 rescue off ebay usa for £80 the other day.still waiting for it to arrive,so just wondered if any one uses the burner rescue?? what you think of them??
i have a dunlop full set at mo that i got from argos as ive only been playing 3 months and i cant yet control a driver or the woods but the rescues work well for me off the tee.i can get 180-200yds with my cheapy so fell in love with the burner after it was on cover of recent mag.sorry to bore you all but how does 102 on a par 68 sound for 3 months playing?? fair progress or crap. ok i can hear the shouts of crap already.
thanks steve.

180+ off the tee with a rescue isn't bad at all.

Are you self teaching golf?

I used a book to begin with and got ok(ish) but it was only when I started my weekly lesson with the pro that my game really started to come together.

nice to hear about new golfers. Iv just got back into golf after about 5years out. Went for a round with my old man and hit 92 off a par 66, which i was well happy with. It should of been a few shots lower but my putting let me down :(!! On a par 4 @ 259y was on green edge for 2 and then 5 putted from there!
