TM burner plus

well, purchased these sticks today, i was using Mizuno MP-32s, a set that was passed on, they were in mint condition and part-exd them for £130 with AG. they werent going for any more on ebay, so not too bad! so eneded up getting the TMs for £220.it was these or the ping g10s, but prefed the feel of the TMs and the slightly longer shaft helped!!
seem nice and first proper test will be tomorrow on the range.
just couldnt use the mizunos, stiff shaft and being bladed, they were irons that were just well above my ability!!
anyone else using them??

elliott, i used the burner 09 irons which are the model that superceeded yours i think. coming from tm supersteels ive found definately there burner irons more forgiving but if im honest their not as long as tm claim which was a bit of a let down. im at most half a club longer with these. the PW as stock seems very strong lofted at 46/47* but overall im happy with them. just dont try to murder them and swing smooth as i think the stock R flex steel shift is a bit soft.

well, im properly trying them out as soon as i can!! im sure they will get the ball further than my mizunos, purely based on the forgiveness and the reg shaft!! but we shall see. the mizunos were about 1/4 inch too short, but these are much better!!

I've been looking at the Burner 2.0 again and hit a few shots with a demo 6 iron. Very nice club although they have strengthened the lofts (like Wilson did) so a 7 iron is really a 6 etc. That said a very good ball flight and very easy to hit. Make sure once you get the new clubs out on the course that you don't try and belt them and that you swing as you would with the Mizzy (easy to overswing with shiny new bats). Enjoy them and you sound like you had a decent deal

Bit of a deja vu moment as its a big day for me tomorrow - getting a set of the Burner 2.0's for a long service award from work (I started young )

Had my eye on em for a while so when the chance came up to get a gift it was straight in and a custom fit done.

Our secretary has em locked up so I cant use them before tomorrows presentation - she knows me too well.

The event is at Kenwick Park which is a very nice course so playing there Saturday with a few guys from work who are at the same do, if the hangover allows!!
