Looking at purchasing some new Irons and considering the Burner 2.0's, I've heard that the shafts are a little longer on them with upright lie angles, can anyone confirm if this is the case ?
My current Irons which I've played with for nearly 10 years now are 1/2" longer and 2% upright with stiff shafts and after attending a Callaway demo day last year they recommended the same set up so not sure if I should look to source a set of the Burners with the same specs or not if they are indeed longer and more upright anyway....any advice appreciated as there are none available locally for me to try.

Thanks Andy

longer than what? you can't seperate shaft length from lie angle. Lies will be flatter not more upright if the shafts are longer and the clubs are standard.

the world is full of people happily playing Burner 2's as 'standard clubs' - if you need 1/2" longer 2 degrees upright then you should order clubs that way, but only after getting fitted for that club.

Longer than you would expect the usual standard Iron length to be is what I have read within a couple of reviews and this is what I was referring to, sorry, unfortunately I'm not in a position to purchase brand new irons at present and so I'm having to look on ebay etc.
Thanks.

Thanks.

You also need to consider that they have very light shafts and grips, which increases clubhead speed but has the potential to impact dynamic lie angles.

What I was really trying to get at is that you really can't take such specs in the context you were.

Nowt wrong with ebay :) both my last 2 sets were via there

Take a look in the for sale section the Taylormade TP CB val is flogging for £200 notes is a cracking deal, for a decent club.

I have also been looking at those as the reviews are very favourable and they do seem a good price, unfortunately I do think I need a stiff shaft with the other specifications I have stated as well which is going to limit my options in the 2nd hand market considerably.
