afternoon all

I have just put up a new gallery of Titliest 909H Hybrid pictures. I put it in the bag on Friday and really liked it on it's first outing. I have had the 585H in for the last two years and this is certainly an improvement. (have put in some comparison pics with the 585H) The head seems to sit much tighter to the turf and the Aldila Voodoo Hybrid shaft isn't as boardy as in driver versions I have tried with it

So worth a buy then?

I love my Taylormade Burner rescue at the moment so doubt I will be changing, however the Titleist stuff looks sweet.

Was trying a driver version in the 909 range. 909 D2. Very nice indeed. Even better when I got the right loft & shaft combination. Made a big difference to the flightscope distance figures By the end of the session I was sending them right out there My previous D1 is going back in the bag for a while. Or at least until I can shift some other items

Very interested now in trying the Hybrid & fairway woods in the 909 range.

I've got the 585 at the moment as well. This 909 looks more like an "ordinary" hybrid that should be easy to hi rather than the 585 which does misbehave if you're not swinging well.

I like it and may be persuaded to test one - preferably 24 degree but I 'm sure I could do justice to the 21!!! :D

I think MWJ will be out trying one as soon as it hits the shops. The way he hits a ball it could go for miles. I wasn't a fan of the 585H when I tried it and thought it was tricky to hit compared with others like the Cobra DWS and the TM Burner

I have a 585H, which I love, so no chance of changing, but then I seem to like hard to hit clubs, so I carry 2 906F2 fairways, which were effectively wihdrawn due to being to hard to middle.

Hmm.

I'm in the market for a titleist hybrid. Now do I go for the new one, or wait for the old one to drop in price???

Go for the new one Tony. Had a whack at the range with one today - unfortunately not the Voodoo shaft but its still miles better than the 585. So much more forgiving and it doesn't look like a fairway wood.

I'm seriously considering raiding the Boy's money box to get one!!!!!!
