Aren't there some 4 for 3 dozen deals in with free printing I think snainton were best priced at £103 for 4 dozen new a fair comparison IMO if you want to bulk buy.

Don't DG sell them any more, I know I bought a bag of pro v's sold as practice balls from them a while ago

They're refinished jobbies.
I use them for shortgame practice. Just chipping and short (60-80yard) pitches.
I wouldn't trust a refinished ball in actual play.

I think they sell secondhand practice balls in a bag. I just ordered a dozen from 4golfionline but it was their last box!

Exactly that, I bought for practice, lucky to get genuine pro v's at little cost to me to play with.

Thanks. I read about the x-outs on the titleist web site. Apparently the x-outs may have physical imperfections that may affect the flight of the ball. They're probably right when it says that I probably wouldnt notice the difference but I think it would play on my mind a bit!

My previous post may have misled you a little. The practice balls purchased from DG were exactly that, used balls suitable for practice. I haven't used them for actual play on the course as I am lucky and get 3 or 4 dozen Pro V1 gifted to me each year.

You can get them from Direct Golf for just under £100. Need to use the £20 off code CAT13EM7B1CFD, valid for a couple of weeks yet. They are also the 2013 ProV1's

it looks like they have replaced them with the XXX outs. probably more or less the same product, but with the XXX outs you'll have some jobsworth trying to DQ you saying - "You can't play comps with an X -out"
