Titleist Pencil bags?

Im looking at getting a Titleist Pencil bag for the winter anyone had any experience with them? Are they water proof?

i used a ping pencil bag once or twice there okay i supose if you fancy going for 9 holes but only thing is cant put much in and your clubs bang around maybe just ping but i would think there the same

there ok mainly used mine in spring summer when we go camping as there a 9 hole course on site,suppose could be usefull in winter if you have waterprrofs on as there aint much room for stuff in the bag

I got one for exactly the same reason, but as i like to get on the course early i wanted a stand on it, and didn't like the idea of constantly laying a bag on soaking wet grass.I got the Mizuno bag for £35 ,only used it once so far but pleased with it

i know what you mean with the stand only reason to use a pencil bag now is if lacking space in the car,most stand bags are very light

I can recommend the wilson staff 'feather' pencil bag, it has a small stand, is waterproof and can fit 14 clubs (just). Also has enough pockets for accessories aswell.

My wife has a Titelist pencil bag she uses in the winter and for a half set during the summer. Has a double strap system and is very good. Holds a full set if necessary. Good pockets for a jacket and a hat/ gloves if needed.

They're ok if it's dry - they're a bit like a sponge in the rain. There are others that come with a stand which are better....

In purple! Its a great little bag and well comfy to wear. I use it when I play par 3 courses or a quick knock about.

you reckon you could fit a water proof jacket in one? I been looking around the web and cnt find any info if they are waterproof or not?

Yes, easily mate, the long side pocket is much larger than it looks.
Dont know if its waterproof, never used it in the rain but it dont come with a rain head cover.

thanks for the quick response, im now looking at this one with the stand on it as my current bag one of the zips has gone on it, and its roughly around 5 years old now.

That's my bag with legs on it, looks good, how much is it? Only has the price in dollars on it.

The red bag will look great with your irons in it.

I bought a pencil bag last year and don't rate them. I don't think they are practical. Much prefer the stand bag

£40!! That's a great price, buy one! I paid £35 this summer for mine from 118 golf in Hampshire.

Got a Callaway Pencil at the moment I only carry 10 clubs anyway (no driver or 3 wood) so space isn't an issue.

When it rains (or looks likely) the trolley and bag come out straight away though
