Fantastic advertising, But there is obviously belief that the ball is suitable for all players.
They would be daft to advise balls for everyone to then play terrible with them.

So ball fitting isnt so important then? just buy Prov1's?

Had a Titleist ball fitting. Guess what first choice ball, for me was, they said ProV1x. Second choice ProV1, and I am just your normal slowish swinging hacker. Think they just want to sell you the dearest, thats all.

Whether you want a distance ball or a ball that's softer for more feel around the greens, there are plenty of mid-range balls at under half the price that will suit all but the single-figure handicappers' games.

It's not really about being good enough to play a pro v it's about being rich enough. I'd rather hit £1 into the water than £3. I do sometimes play pro v's but I like to stick to one ball and get used to the feel and fit it to my game.
