Anyone play the nxt tour ball?

Found a couple of pro v 1x which i quite like but in a rival mag there was a fitting feature that suggested the nxt tour gave as much spin as the prov1x but more distance, on average?

Was planning on trying the prov1x but if the nxt tour is as good i could save myself some wedge...

NWJ.

I've just finished my nxt tours today. I'm going back to Dx2 just on price t.b.h.

It's a good ball, and my partner (who plays Pro-V) had to hit my nxt tour on 9 holes, I hit his Pro-V for 9 too! (don't ask... :o)

Can't say either of us noticed anything at all.......

I had a voucher following a place in an Open and bought 2 dozen NXT Tours with it.

Very impressed with them. They are long, durable and spin.

A very good ball and a good chunk cheaper than Pro-V1(x)s.

I suppose it is the same way I feel about srixon ad333's just dont like them that much....

The ad333 seems a good enough ball, but I just can't putt with them.
2 dozen ought to be enough to learn.... :o

I have a few knocking about along with AD333's which I tend to use more in the winter. A good ball but too firm off the putter for my liking on the quicker summer greens (except when it is monsoon season like today of course)

my Dad (off 14) swears by them but I did not really like them when I gave them a go.

Why not? What exactly didn't you like?

same as above I did not putt well with them and I did not like the feel of them off the driver.

They clearly are a very good ball at the price though but not really in the same bracket as the AD333 which I beleive is more like the NXT or NXT Extreme.

Very good ball, certainly for the price. Prefer the pro v1x though.

Whats the main difference durango? Something specific, i.e. feel from xthe putter or just better all round?

Thanks for all the responses aswell, i like a soft feeling ball with the putter so maybe prov1x are worth the extra for me.....

I like them, and spent most of last year on them. But have changed back to the Srixon Trispeeds as I just prefer the feel of them around and on the greens.

How do they compare for price?

I've never tried trispeeds, always seemed expensive.

I normally use pro v1/x and bought a dozen of the penta TP's which are pretty nice off the putter. (even managed to keep the same one round ballyliffin for two days!)

I too prefer a softer ball off the putter. Even the AD333 feels 'clicky'. The DX2 is a nice ball, and a firm fav on here. But that's why I like the Trispeed, good on and around the green, and perfectly adequate off the tee.

Others will say different. No-one is right, it's just our opinion.

Buy a sleeve of each and see how you get on.
