Well I was fancying trying the new Wilson FG tour thingy, but my club doesn't sell them so I thought I would buy myself a sleeve of Titleist NXT Tour S's. I don't know how much they were, to me that is an issue I will deal with at a later date when I am deciding about performance.
I found this an interesting ball, I thought it behaved nicely around the greens and felt okay off the putter. The distance off the woods was good but I would say that it does spin a bit as some of my wood shots seem to climb a little more than normal into the wind. Off the irons it felt nice and it was dropping and stopping and coming back on the short irons (partly because the greens are nice and soft). I played late afternoon and the temperature did drop for the last 6 holes and there was something that made me think whether the temperature was affecting them. They really were travelling well initially but as it got cooler they seemed to be losing a few yards .. but seriously this is a minor issue if I play this ball all summer, which I would presently do.

I enjoyed the performance of the NXT Tour S when I tested the Proto ones that I was a sent .... however I didn't think they were deserving of their price tag, so it's a no from me :(

I suppose £30/ 12 for what is a second level ball is steep .. when compared to other offerings !

Anyone tried the AD333 with the spin skin or the tour version ?

The spin skin AD333 is what I'm using at the moment, feels good, great performance and much much cheaper. Haven't had the Tour version yet, but will be trying them ... just not sure if it can get better than the ad333.

Ive just had some srixon soft feel balls delivered today , looking forward to getting out and having a bash at them

I got my Dad a dozen of those for Christmas, they seem to be a hit (or miss in his case :) ) I have just re-done his grooves on his sand wedge, did tell him the net affect will be lots of spin and shredding balls :) ... Also re-gripped his Mizuno Impacts, they had the original grips on, I don't know how he was playing with them!

I have played this ball for a while now and I think they play very well with driver and full iron shots but I don't think they shine on the short game . Very similar to pro v1x but not on short pitches.
