Anyone got any views on the titleist dt solo, i am a massive nxt tour fan and when i saw some dt solo for sale i though i would give them a go. They are what i would say the hardiest most uncomfortable golf ball i have ever used. They make pinnacle feel soft, really surprise me. If any other company made these balls nobody would use them. now i have 12 brand new in white and 12 in optic yellow to get ride of. what a waste of cash that was.

I used them through winter (mainly because they were the easiest to get in yellow) and found them decent enough. Obviously soft temp greens and poor weather gave the advantage to the harder ball. In fairness to Titleist though they are their cheapest ball aimed at getting more distance on shots and the ball does that. They were never really going to compete if you are comparing them to the NXT Tour that's twice the price and aimed at better players. I'd keep them until winter if I were you. They are perfect for playing in rubbish weather and cheaper if you lose any.

I use them in the in the winter aswell , have no probs with them at all , I prefer Titleist so have pro v's for the summer & a mixture of pts /dts /nxt's for the mucky weather (no yellow balls).. go back to where you bought them ,explain what happened & change or upgrade them ..

I hate um!!! Nasty ball!!

Me to hate them cant even look at them they give me the creeps feel like a snooker ball of the club face, i will not even use them in the winter. My girlfriend got them i gave her the cash to pick them up for me and guess what she lost the receipt.... phoned shop and can not refund or exchange with out receipt. going to take them to the golf club saturday and see if i can swap them with the pro for something else. worth a go

They are bad but some of sports direct offerings are worse. I was hoping for a good cheap ball and bought some Callaway CXRs, surprised they didn't dent my driver face. I now know a good cheap ball doesn't exist, gonna stick with prov s.

Im not take the micky now but try wilson dx2 or dx3 good value for money very pleasant ball. i love the z star tour yellow but for me the nxt tour has all i need in a ball, decent feel, good distance and nice spin rate to stop on the green. pro v1 are a bit to soft for me but the pro v1x are perfect just cant spend 40 pounds on 12 as i cry when i lost one.
