So I splashed out on a lovely new Titleist Tour stand bag early last year from a well known high street golf store, I'm not going to beat around the bush, I've used it extensively over the last year however...
Within a couple of months two of the zip toggle things had broken, not a massive issue but quite annoying.
Now to this summer, both the plastic bits (shaped like a square 8 if you will) which attach the bag to the straps have now broken. I was only able to continue using the bag mid round after a quick change in how the straps go through the bag handle and bodge it together.
Really not impressed with build quality, as I've said I've used it a lot but I still don't expect it to fall to bits after just over a year, specially with being Titleist who are supposed to be right up there!
I'm currently trying to dig out the receipt but I'm pretty sure it's over 1 year since I got the bag so I'm not sure if I can take it back.

It may be turning into a cart bag very soon!

I have a Cobra stand bag, bought about 6 or 7 years ago when they were still owned by Titleist. It's still going strong apart from being a little off-white in parts now.

I have bought Slazenger, Donnay, Titleist and Ping bags (carry, stand and trolley) over the years and have always found the Ping bags to be the best.

I bought a Callaway lightweight cart bag a few months ago and, frankly, they are crap. It barely stand up on its own when not on the trolley and is flimsy and cheap! Next time I shall do as I've always done and go for the best quality I can afford

I had the exact same bag as you for around 12 months with zero issues. probably the best stand bag I've ever had.

I guess you may have been a little unlucky.

I have another Titleist Stand bag (SX1?) that I use as a Sunday bag for half a set. Having said that I've used it once since Christmas

Had exactly the same issue with my Mizuno carry bag (as in the plastic figure of 8 thingy breaking). Fudged it by using a really thick key ring as a replacement.

Been fine since then (about 3 years ago).

Had a few problems with a Titliest bag a few years back. Bought a Cobra to replace it.... damn thing won't fail, and I fancy a change.

Have got 2 Titleist bags; one carry, stand bag and I have had it for absolutely ages and I still love it. I've never had an issue with it.

Also have a cart bag which is about 2 years old and again I can't fault the quality of it.

I think you may have been unlucky but from personal experience with a problem with a Titleist club, their customer service was very good when I needed a repair; they didn't even charge which was impressive so no qualms from me towards Titleist as a customer.

I'll be in the hunt for a Titleist bag now I think. No storage in my current one. Always felt the Titleist was a good bag. Maybe you got the friday one?

I'm thinking of doing something similar because the bag itself is awesome, haven't found anything suitable yet though.

Found them in my dad's garage (a wonderful treasure trove...). If you do a search on th'ebay for "58MM split ring keyring" I think they are the same kind of thing.

I purchased the new 2015 cart bag (not StaDry) off eBay last month for a bargain £61. The owner had simply 'upgraded' to the StaDry. However, the spring mechanism in one strap loop was broken and so therefore would mean I couldn't carry if required (I won't anyway) as the strap wouldn't clip on securely.

However, I emailed Titleist and within 24hrs they'd arranged to send me a new strap, without the need to send the other one back, with as little hassle as you could possibly imagine. Amazing service.

My point being in all this, is to give it a try and pleasantly email them your dissatisfaction. Despite your bag being over a year old, you just never know.

The fact that it's over 12 months old doesn't end Titleist's obligations - the bag has to be of serviceable quality - so definitely worth contacting them. In any case, they are a good company and will almost certainly resolve the problem to your satisfaction.
