Titleist bag broke (potentially)?

I have a Titleist lightweight SE standbag, the stand mechanism at the bottom has worn away and snapped off when I lifted it out of the car.

Has this happened to anyone else at all? Can it be mended, if so how did you do it?

A picture might make it easier to understand the issue. However how someone else would proceed is more likely to be based on their workshop and equipment than to be the obvious solution.

Generally replacing the whole stand mechanism is the easy option (if you can source one).

How old is the bag, it shouldnt be breaking there for a good few years.

Very poor quality unless its been knocked about a bit or had any repetitive strain that isnt in the usual direction of operating. If it was less than a couple of years old I would be emailing Titleist to see if they can help, worth s

It shouldn't have gone there and depending on the age I'd contact Titleist if it's out of warranty. If not take it back to place of purchase

It hasn't been abused at all, just over a year old though, it was bought on sale from Sports Direct

If it is just out of warranty you could try Sports Direct (I expect they'll be totally disinterested) but I'd try Titleist directly especially if you take care of your gear

Thanks - so it's a plastic break..No obvious workshop fix that I can see.
