Titleist AP1 & AP2 714 Combo Set

Hi guys,

Just wondering whether anyone plays a combo set made up of AP1's and AP2's or knows of anyone who does?

If so, would love to hear your views on this. For those that don't what do you think about a setup like this? e.g. 4,5,6 in AP1 and 7 to PW in AP2.

No reason not to go that way, but I have a set of Mizuno combo's and you can't sell them when you later want a change, on Golfbidder etc as they're classed as not a full set

Also the look is going to radically change at the junction between the 2 sets
Not that the AP1 is particularly chunky, its certainly more chunky than the AP2 meaning a big difference between 6 and 7 iron.
Lofts may need to be altered to get trajectories similar -AP1 probably launches higher than AP2 ....
