So who's got one then ? I've read and heard that they've absolutely flown off of the shelves and Titleist now say 7-10 days from order to delivery as they cannot keep up with demand.

Is there a marked performance improvement from the impressive 915D ?

Be keen to hear folks' initial thoughts and impressions .

I had a bash at American Golf, although I'm not a big hitter, so results may differ it added 11 yards over the 915 I hit. However I'm gonna take my driver and compare as I've got my eyes on a 915

What are the 915's down to in store mate?

You need to have a swing of one. After the first few hits you'll want one. The feel is outstanding. I dumped a perfectly good driver, that was fitted for me and worked flawlessly. The 917 is better. I hated the 915 feel wise so I'm no titleist fan boy.

I've been told custom orders are being shipped, but shelf stock is being held back for a couple of weeks. I paid £399 for mine, but bought a fairway at the same time and saved £65.

You did well mate
Coz the buy 2 woods and save 10% deal, now excludes the 917 range....

I went in for a waggle and the shaft length seemed enormous compared to my 915... though I do have mine cut down an inch.

Would be interested in how I hit it tho

We got them in the pro shop yesterday. The d3 looks very open at address, I'm hoping to have a go on the course tomorrow. I can't believe they'll be better feeling than the 910 range though.

I used to be a proper Titleist fanboy but I am not sure I can get past how good my M1 is now, despite the fact its a pig.

14 holes today with the new woods. STUNNING!
The driver is mega. Hard to judge if it's any longer on course due to weather and zero roll atm but it's no shorter for sure.
Fairway is awesome and the one thing I noticed after today, it gives very consistent results. Middled 3 tee shots off the 9th. All where within 4yrds of each other. Thats what I'm after!

Liked the previous incarnation I tried with GM at Silvermere but can't see me going for this at the current price. Same for most drivers these days and they seem to only be going higher but are we really getting massive performance differences to warrant the price, even say from the Titleist and the 913 and 917.
