Opting for the 913 5 wood as my go to club on tight holes and when the driver is being naughty... Any advice on what shaft to go for as there are loads to choose from. It has to be stiff & I traditionally hit a high ball flight with a draw!!

Thanks in advance :)

Just go to your local DG / AG and hit balls with all different shafts, see which best suits and then buy wherever you like.

American Golf are doing free fitting.

Anyone selling the 913 should do a free fitting. If they won't, walk away. I would avoid the big stores and go to a pro instead. Much more likely to get a good fit, rather than what is in stock.

The range of stock shafts should cover most players, but there are quite a few custom shafts too. Some of these require an upcharge (extra dosh) but many do not.

I can offer a perspective from fitting with launch monitor and Pro. A word about that first. Go to a good range with decent two piece balls, I used Srixon range ones. A different range to my local normal one. If you could get to a official Titleist centre so much the better

Did a session day 1 and went 712MBs.
Day 2, did woods, after fine tuning to 913D3, 9.5°, (Diamana D+ White 72 Stiff), Set at C2.
We then tried the '3 woods' - somehow I couldn't get enough spin on the 13/14 degree F's. Pro wandered off and and came back and handed me the .. 913F, 19°, (Diamana S+ Blue 72 Stiff), Set at B2. Immediate effect to get spin and launch up and it carried out to 235 (and kept a tight'ish dispersion), the D3 was doing 260 and subsequently the 913H I added is doing 215.

So my bag is driver, 5 wood (i'll call it 19 degree) & hybrid... I have to say not what I expected. On course experience - great so far, doubles up well off tee and fairway. I like the way it nestles in behind ball and doesn't have humongous head. But a little niggle at back of mind that it might struggle, (into head wind etc) in really windy conditions as I hit quite high as is.
