Ok guys been playing a yr or so know and my hcps decreasing steadily to 23 I currently use a hybrid off the tee but recently a opportunity has come up for me to buy the 910 3 wood and hybrid at a very good price I'm wondering firstly are the clubs any good ans secondly would they be ok for someone of my hcp ? I know people are going to say try them out but I can't as I'm currently working away
Cheers

I used to have the fairway wood and still have 2 hybrids.

Not the easiest clubs to hit IMO, although I don't think the hybrids are far from more forgiving alternatives. I wouldn't recommend the fairway woods for a higher handicap, but just my opinion :)

You need to try them to see if they suit you.
I have tried them and love them but still have to stop HID spending money so I can save up to get them.

I have the 3 and 5 woods as well as the Driver.....
They are a lot smaller looking than the run of the mill woods from the likes of Ping, Taylormade and Callaway..... If your not too intimidated by the size then by all means belt away... They are forgiving to a point.... But if you tend to hit all over the face then there are more forgiving woods.... Also they sit .5 of a degree open as well..... Si if you tend to slice or fade the ball then it'll be harder to square the face......

Very personal I think. I have a 17 degree 910f which equates to a 4 wood and I think it is brilliant for my game. I also have a 21 degree hybrid and I cannot hit it for toffee.

They're great clubs, I wouldn't swap mine for anything but they aren't beginner's clubs as they aren't that forgiving. The hybrids are probably a touch more forgiving than the fairways but if you want "help" with your mi*****, there are more suitable clubs out there.

OK, they sit a shade open in the standard setting, but if you need some draw assistance or more loft you can dial that in pretty easily. The stock shafts will come up a bit former than the standard offerings from taylor Made, but if you demo one or are fitted, you should be able to find a shaft and a setting to suit most swings. There are plenty of lightweight and high launch shafts available. Likewise the 913.

The forum auto-censorship has gone mad! That was meant to say mis-hits, obviously it doesn't like the fact I missed the hyphen

Love mine, the hybrid is awesome the 3 wood is not forgiving and I only use it off the tee.
