Down at Direct Golf http://www.direct-golf.co.uk/golf_drivers/titleist/907_d1_driver_golf_drivers/p6082

Lots of shaft/loft options. Available from 17/2.

Also, they have a McGregor DCT Face Off putter for only £29.99 http://www.direct-golf.co.uk/product/search/searchResults.asp?search_product_model=dct

You can change the face for a soft feel on fast greens and hard face for slow greens. There is a guy selling these on ebay for £119!!

I wanted a tradtional style putter and at £29.99 have given this a go. :)

Looks a good deal on the driver.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the ys6 shaft in the Driver and the ys6f in my 3 wood?

Clubhouse golf are good - have used them a couple of times.

Am gutted about that putter - I've just bought one for £50 not long ago! I thought that was a bargain! Recommended though - its got good feel, I preferred it to a few others I tried. It feels quite heavy, so is good for getting a real pendulum motion going.

Ahh I dont know which shaft would be best.

I play the Aldila in my Current FT-5 and the proto doesnt seem to different.

I play the Ys6 in my 3 wood so would this be exactly the same and perform aswell in a driver?

Choices choices.

I'd have thought the Graphite Design shaft ought to react the same as your 3 wood. The only difference is about 3 inches in length! If the flex is the same and the kick-point the same, then it would make sense for the shafts to react the same.

It depends what head you currently have.

The 907s are bore through, and that makes the shaft behave differently to a blind hozel. You can't just guess this, it needs to be c/f'ed, which is one of the many reasons why the 907 range bombed.

I bought a 907 with an Aldila shaft hat I had in a different driver, and couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. Had the shaft changed, and bingo, everything is sweet.

The other reason they bombed, was Titleist thought every one wanted high MOI drivers, as that was the trendy thing, but it turned out traditional Titleist buyers didn't want this at all (taken from a podcast from Titleists metal woods chief). So poor market research.

With the right shaft, these are great drivers, but it is a gambol unless you get fitted.

Buyer beware.
