I'm debating Buying the 716 AP2 after finding out my clubs were so badly fitted for me! I have hit these clubs and they feel fantastic in a simulator but wondered if anyone has used them on the course?

I don't think any iron is worth, but we still buy them. It's whether or not it's worth it to you.

I play them and like them, but a bigger endorsement might be the bloke over there ------------>

Titleist make excellent quality irons and their prices are not over the top.

If you want to save some cash you could perhaps but 2nd hand and get them adjusted to your spec.

I have had mine a year and I just dont get on great with them if im honest. The lofts are quite weak these days and I find the ball tends to balloon quite a lot although that could be down to the shafts.

I am considering selling them and upgrading soon truth be told.

Lovely club, feel nice off the middle but I would say if you can find the 714's get them as imo they look nicer

I've had mine for about 4 months and like them- would say they feel pretty good. Wouldn't say I'm completely adjusted to them yet, purely because distances have been a bit variable because of the cold, but they certainly fly well. The AMT's in the 716 makes them worth looking at over the 714 in my opinion

I've still got my 710s, which I bought 2nd hand in 2011. Lovely feeling clubs. Whether they're worth the money depends on a lot of factors but if you like them and can afford them, then they're nicer than most other irons out there, IMO.

Just traded my XR pros in and am awiting delivery of my AP2 716s...

I've got 714 and considering buying a spare set while they are around. Tried 716 at the Titleist fitting and while they a bit more forgiving and spin a bit more, they didn't feel as good as 714.

If I was buying anything from 716 range it'd be CBs if you are ok with slightly shorter distance. The feel was great.

To be honest, if I hadn't got such a good deal on my AP2's, I'd have gotten CB's- they feel better, and the difference in forgiveness seemed minimal when I first tried them both

I've got the 716 AP2s and love them to bits, as you said they feel fantastic. Can't compare them to the 714 but when I bought these last year I tried lots of comparable irons and for me at least the AP2s were always longer and straighter.

Compared to what? think basically all the players cavity backs are priced the same. 765s are the same as are JPX 900s and Apex Pros. If anything the 716s are very slightly cheaper

They're worth more than the price if they enable you to put the ball next to the flag on a regular basis....
If you can't hit a green with them they're worthless...

Mate is selling his 716 AP1's 4-PW with XP 90 shafts for £299.00, could've saved myself a packet if I'd of waited. Quality clubs

Had the 710's then The 714's. They were OK, but I changed to Pings and love them.
sold me 714's to a PP for £150 and he reckons he has robbed me, and keeps reminding me.
will agree that re clubs it is all about the feel. If you have been poorly fitted in the past I would deffo. Are sure you are proper fitted this time re new bats.

why is he flogging them paul me man?
He's decided he wants to play Mizuno JPX 900, bit more money than sense 😃

Just checked the PGA site, worth £473.00 at AG with double trade in, might just buy them me self

Will be retiring my 712 CB's for them in the next few weeks. Might even get some new SM 6's to go with them.

Don't you just love it when an insurance policy matures:D

Been looking at AP1 714s recently. Stiff and +0.75" preferably. How easy is it getting fitted for second hand clubs if you buy them from the bay etc?
