Titleist 714 Irons Out Today!!

Morning guys,

Titleist's new 714 series irons are officially availalbe for purchase today (8th November).

Serioulsy considering getting me a set of the AP1's soon!! Is anyone else thinking of getting some and if so which model?

Has anyone had the chance to hit these yet?

I've hit the demo 6i in both the AP1 & AP2 - both are fantastic.

If I do change next year, I'll be looking at a combo set of the two.

I have used the AP2's for 3 years and love them I just wonder, off your handicap, why you would do a combo set?

I have the demo 6i's for the AP1, AP2 and CB in the boot of the car, I had a quick session on the range last night and will give them a thorough testing tomorrow.

Yes I'll be getting some AP1s to replace my ancient irons. AP2 look much nicer but common sense will prevail

£700 rrp for 4-pw.

I should have a set of the new AP2's in my hand by the end of the day! My weekly reporting has been completed early so that I have no distractions when they arrive....I just need the phone to ring now.

714 AP range looks good. CB and MB 712s look better IMO.

AyrshireGolfer- FYI, I got my CB/MB combo last year for £675 3-P, including a grip 'upgrade' to VDR's through my pro. A decent wedge of pro shop credit covered a good chunk of that and selling off old gear covered the rest - well worth it!

Thats where we got fitted couldnt recommend it enough mate , brilliant experience by top people

These are defo on my hit list when I change irons next year and it will all depend on the numbers if I go with them or not.

I hit the AP2 today at the golf show. Very nice clubs, tried them with 4 or 5 different shaft and they're on the possible list with the MP54's now.

Well I spent a couple of hours at the range today, and once I'd remembered how to swing, the AP2's were lovely - better ball flight & more consistency.

I hope they behave in the comp tomorrow!
