Titleist 712U

Morning,

Just looking for some feedback on the Titleist 712U driving irons.

I am curious to know what shafts people are using in their 712U?

I currently have Project X 6.0 in my irons so would think that the same shaft would be ok for the 712U but what are other people's experiences?

Has anyone tried the PXi shaft in the 712U?

Dont think these are on general release with not many being about and only available on order? guess a titleist fitting centre may have some to try?

I've seen them in a couple of pro shops recently, and they do look nice.

Find the price tag though, £169!!

I'd like one, but I wouldn't want to take another club out of the bag, plus the price puts me off.

I had one for a while with KBS Tour Stiff-same as my irons. Was OK but not special. Iron play is the strongest part of my game and I could hit it well enough but just didn't 'need' it so sold it again. More workable left/right than a hybrid but distance and trajectory was actually about the same for me.

I have also hit it with a PXi 6.0 and if that's what you're playing in your iron set then i reckon it will be fine for you in the 712U.

He had one with an X100 shaft which was nice although thats not the right shaft for me, plus a couple of days ago I hit the 3 iron with the KBS Tour Stiff which felt very nice.

I have a 913H 19 deg which I will use most of the time but the 712U will be useful for more links style conditions.

Before I bite the bullet and order one, I will try and hit the 712U with the PX & PXi shafts to see how they perform.

Really fancy trying one of these along with the Adams cally and mizzy versions but having trouble finding one to hit.

Hit irons so much better than woods or hybrids feel one of these could help me
