Hi Guys! AS the winter is upon us... (well it was today! Played 18 holes in a gale and pouring rain, set out on another 18 holes... Packed in after 2 as the greens were flooded!)

I'm going to start carrying my clubs instead of using my Motocaddy.

I've got a decent Wlison Carry bag that came with my clubs, but its not the comfiest so...

ANy tips other than keep the bag light and only take 3 or 4 balls?

thanks Matty :mmm:

When winter fully sets in you'll be wearing your waterproofs and gloves and hat etc so won't be carrying clothing.

Last winter I started with about 8-9 clubs for a few rounds and then gradually added til I carried a full set and was fine. Less balls, less tees and the general gumph that we fill our trolley bags with!

If I was looking for a carry bag specifically for winter golf and the budget could stretch I'd be looking at the H2NO as its waterproof which has to be the greatest consideration at this time of year

Just do it, forget trolleys/carts. Winter golf usually has cordons set round courses that trolleys are supposed to follow etc, carrying just doesnt have the same rules to apply. Just dont overdo it with extra clothes etc.
I carry a windbreaker and an umbrella, if I need more than that, I wont be playing 18 holes.
