After a very frustrating 10 on the seventeen i got even more angry when i hit my first ball in to the water. So I decided to screw the round and do a tin cup. After hitting my other two balls in the water, i went and got my last remaining ball.
When teeing it up i was totally relaxed and hit probably the best shot of the day on to the final par three. Then one putted for a 8.

Has anybody else done this? And if they have, did they have the same feeling on the last shot?

It felt very weird walking of 18

Not to the same extent but I did shank and lose two balls on the same hole today. 85 yards out and tried to hit a 52 degree - Wham right. Dropped a new Cally under penalty and switched to a PW and that went right, with a bit of right hand side, some right hand spin and bouncing and running right - basically a worse shot than the one before. Blow out on the hole!

A tad embarrased standing on the next tee I let rip with the drive and boomed it way down there with some draw and put myself in position to go for the green (500 yard par 5 and normally not even an option). Sometimes a bit of frustration is good.

Kevin Costner film where he hits about 10 balls in the drink, before making it with his last ball. Goes from winning to whatever...

Great feel good film probably one of the best Tour related golf films out there, with many well known tour players doing some great bit parts.

I've never dumbed enough ball to get down to my last ball. There again I've always carried a lot of balls in the bag. Though I have determindly hit from a spot when I know I could simply drop closer, just to know I can do what I know I can do. Though common sense usually prevails before making a complete idiot of myself.

I could watch Tin Cup over & over again. Then again I can re-watch Bagger Vance many times over too.
