Loved this link to article showing journeyman pro's putt (which takes a Tiger-like age to drop) to get into the US Open. Makes you feel all good inside even though you know he will score 85 & 85 and miss the cut by miles.

I'm sure he could get the same quality advice here on the forum for free (Bobmac could do a v.easy sponsorship deal) and everybody's happy.

In 20+ years playing I've only had one putt where I turned away dejected with the ball over the lip only for it to fall in. It was more than 10 years ago in the semi-final of the club's premier handicap matchplay knockout against one of the scratch team and it was decisive - I had to try to suppress an enormous grin as my opponent was built like Robert Karlsson :smirk:
