Timing of sales

Hi All. New poster here that has enjoyed reading the forums for a while.

I took up golf at the start of the year with really cheap gear and after lots of work have got myself down to bogey-golf (and occasionally better).

Ive been to some equipment trials recently and noticed a big difference compared to my current clubs.

Im keen to upgrade various things, however with the (non) summer in scotland ending im worried id spend a lot and then stuff would go in the sale straight after.

Do sales tend to start in autumn/winter or does it tend to be next spring when the replacements are released?

Tends to be 2 batches of sales current ones about now with spring summer ranges in and then post Xmas with clearing out autumn winter stock before the spring/summer 16 stocks hit the shops.
It much the same as most things as long as your happy to pay the price go for it.

golf eqipments doesnt really hold its value these days, so a year or so down the line some excellent stuff can be had for much cheapness.
