Tiger Woods 12 on PS3...

Got this game for father's day and so far so good. However, I've now found out that in career mode there are some tournaments you can't enter because you have to buy the course. A tad cheeky I thought but imagining it to be a couple of quid I ventured on to find out how much.

£5.49!!!!!! for a single course that's a registered tournament in the game and £3.19 for ones that don't feature in tour mode.

There are 19 additional courses so if you buy all of them that's almost double the cost of the full priced game itself!

So apart from being shocked has anyone bought any additional courses and was it worth it?

Not bought any of the extra courses, that is VERY cheeky though. Best thing to do is to ask for some PSN vouchers for birthday/Christmas and use them to buy them.

Gives you more variety and a chance to "play" golf courses you otherwise wouldn't be able to. £5 is quite steep though. Depends how often you play the game I suppose!

£5 is outrageous. I'll see how I get on with the normal fodder for now. Just annoyed as if they had priced them better I probably would have bought 4 or 5 courses. When I get more proficient I'll give you a game Aztecs

I'm terrible mate! I used to be good back on 09 and 10, but I've not had time to play the last two very much. Shame really.

the actual content of premium games at the moment (of a lot of different genres) is getting ridiculously low. Take the COD games for example - the actual game content is minimal and takes very little time to complete - unless you purchase additional content (maps etc). Thank god the PSN is free for online play unlike XBox live.

Found out that you can get 13 courses for £20 which is much more reasonable. Have to say the accuracy of Augusta is phenomenal, especially the greens.
