Part of a consortium and he's the face of it. Can't see why not.
Sanatogen ?? or maybe Deep Heat
Why would he not buy nikes club making business?
Why would he not buy nikes club making business?
Because as soon as Nike made their announcement they shut down everything on the clubs side of the business. Plus as its not Tiger's money (private equity) then I doubt anybody else would be willing to stump up for a business that was loosing share ... much better to buy something that acts the top of the game.
Really? For all TM's shortcoming I don't think you can argue they don't make some great clubs, how many Nike clubs live long in the memory in the same way the R510, R7, Burner 07, SF Tp, and now the M1 line have been received plus numerous others? That was my thought why buy Talyor made when you could buy the Nike golf, he supposedly has a close relationship with Phil Knights, imo nike golf is better in every department.
That said the taylormade rumour is just that a rumour and will not happen.

Yes that was just off the top of my head but as you say they make great irons and putters too. They are a well established brand and with Woods pushing them, if the price is right it's a no brainer.I agree. They are certainly the number 1 driver on all major tours, and used by some players that aren't TM staff players. They also make some good quality irons and so I can see the logic behind Wood's involvement. Whether it comes to fruition is another matter

TM have made gains in the recent quarters, plus Nike have been losing share and sales too in the last years... but based on a much much smaller share to start with.
The last adidas quarterly results showed the improvements made, since last year. Not saying they have reached the peak they had a few years ago, but let's face it adidas are offloading as the profit is not the same as clothing and footwear, and TM is pulling down their overall ratings.I suggest you look at golfspy for an explanation of TaylorMade's recent history.
Let's face it if they were still successful adidas wouldn't be unloading them at a loss relative to the money they, adidas, have invested.
