Tiger not playing in masters!!!!

I think the excitement levels for the Masters in the world of golf for the majority will have been somewhat dampened this evening, I for one am very disappointed but I am a Tiger fan so for me its like England not qualifying for the World Cup.

There have been lots of silly comments throughout this thread about Tiger being finished AGAIN!!! The same comments where made before Tiger had a great season last year.

I have included a little clipping from Tigers press release today and if the haters among us are hoping Tigers belief is fading then I'm afraid you are sadly mistaken...

When did anyone say Woods was finished ?

Belief is one thing - actually doing it is a different thing

The only silly comment I have seen is the one about a sub standard golfer winning when Woods isn't playing

My anticipation for this years Masters hasn't been dampened one bit.. And I'm no Tiger hater.. I'm a fan of Tiger, but I'm a fan of Golf first.. In all honesty, I dislike the way the media turn every comp into a Tiger comp, but that's not his fault..

I'm not a hater ( whatever that is ) but I'm not a fan of his -I'm a fan of golf also. And I believe my enjoy ment is better when he isn't playing

Amusing to say the least No tiger at the Masters you would have thought he would have got it sorted before or are we still on with April Fool cannot remember seeing anything yet on sky sports News.

However why would you expect a sub standard golfer to win the defending champion is currently No 1 and it has been a while for Tiger since he won one? Also must agree with the fact that we may actually see some golf played by the rest of the field. Lets not forget Foster on the bag for Westwood he may just may have a good one as so many of the others.

Very hard to understand....

My memory is not as good as it was, but I didn't realise Tiger won last years Masters? :thup:

At the side of Tiger Woods then Yes they are not in the same league. If they were they would have his winning record. None of them do. I understand many peoples reluctance to face the facts but facts they are in Black and white for all to see. Poulter has done nothing at the side of Tiger and out of the ones you mentioned Phil is the closest but the rest, Nah you are having a laugh. Jason Day, Donald, Scott and Stenson haven't exactly covered themselves in glory in the majors. Scott has thrown away more than he has won and the others are no better. I stand by my statement that at best they are also rans.

Presumably you won't be watching the sub-standard golf at The Masters this year.
