Anybody expecting anything special? He had a strong finish to last year and I doubt he's just had his feet up since.
Should be interesting.

Think its only tiger and Phil in the worlds top 10 playing in the Farmers.

Non of the top European boys playing this week on either tour?
 
Aztec, I know what you mean mate but it could go either way, you just never know with Tiger.

He could finish T43rd or win by 6 clear shots.

I think think this year its gonna be a battle between woods and kaymer. Should be a great season.
 
I think there could be 4 or 5 others in the mix this year as well, namely McDowell, Kuchar, Johnston, McIlroy and of course Westwood. I think all of these players will at some point have a chance to go to No 1 this year. The rankings are a lot tighter than usual.
 
Great that Tiger is back, it would also be great to see him somewhere back towards his best.

With the quality having improved around him, it will make for some great battles in the majors.
 
Out of all of them in contention I would love to see Mcilroy take the honours but sadly I think unless he sorts his putting out he will fall short
 
I'd love to see a European clean sweep of the Majors this year. I doubt very much it will happen, but I'd love to stick it to the yanks yet again. Smug barstewards! :D

His putting is fine, as said before, he finds a lot of GIR and as such stats suffer where some guys miss the green, chip on and single putt. He is in the same boat as many, more than capable, just needs to string the four good rounds, usually Friday or Saturday is his undoing.

He is 130th in the world for putts per GIR, surely that has to improve if he is to realise his true potential. He certainly has bucket loads of natural talent in every other aspect of his game.
 
Statistically speaking his scrambling is the one area that he needs to improve.
I also know he is trying to fix a slight pull at the moment too, if he was missing recently, it was always to the left. On some courses that is fine, on the likes of Augusta, it penalises you.
 
Tiger will be back this year stronger than ever IMHO. His head will be sorted, his coach seems to be making progress with him and he will have the goal of getting his NO1 place back. Let's see if the others can hold him off.
 
Whether you like him or not you cannot get away from the fact that Tiger still generates more interest than other tour players. It should be very interesting to see how he does in the next couple of weeks against the background of a lot of work with Sean Foley and no injuries to contend with.

That'll be interesting to watch - this will be the first time that I've watched Tiger on Sky - only subscribed in November.

I do hope it's not as bad as you say Bob! :)

quite agree Bob, its strange how they will have him in on camera while he is watching somebody else play a shot which we don't get to see
 
Yep, good to see him back and I for one hope he gets back to his best - but I also hope the likes of Kaymer have the balls to stand up to him. If he's gonna get back to world no.1, I want to see him earn it.
 
I was just about to ask if anyone knew the reason why Dustin Johnson and Justin [for sure] Rose were wearing the same all white outfit.
The commentator has just informed me its due to them promoting the R11, explaining the white theme.

Is this the kind of sh1te you have to do when sponsered by TM.
