Tiger has had another 2 nd back op and will be out til 2016. Says he has been told he will get back to full fitness. But will it make any difference to his game. Can't see it.

Got to feel for the guy.
I'd love to see him back challenging for majors again.
Personally I can't see it tho.

Dear Tiger.

It's time. Thanks for the memories.

Your kids are growing up and you've missed so much of that up to now, Go spend time with them.

That's tough for him. It must be incredibly frustrating to keep getting back close to fitness and feeling like you might get back to being competitive again only for something else to go wrong.

i personally hope he does get back but I've being saying that for several years now and you have to think that it ain't gonna happen.

Still, I for one wish him all the best.

Don't see him challenging at the top level again - the top guys are moving further and further away from him and he doesn't have the fitness or the length or short game to keep up with them now

Give him credit for the fight and determination to keep coming back. But its painful (as his back probably is) watching him struggle each time he is out on the course. I only really started watching golf 6-7 years ago so I've sorta missed the Tiger revolution, but his presence alone at The Open has made me appreciate how good this guy has been and what he has done for golf!

I am a big fan of Tiger being the same age I watched him at his best, but really winning more golf events is not worth making yourself a cripple later in life.

Quit, work with the foundation and know you have many records, the number 18 is only one number in your life.. move on!

Wht a shame. It would be great to see him fit and well and finding a challenging and fullfilling way of staying involved in the game and bringing on the next generation of pros

Now that would be good especially if he became a mentor to one or two of the up and coming top amateurs and nurtured them onto the tour and into the majors. I wonder how far he could get them to go
