Tickets for gigs

So I thought I'd give it a go to get a couple of tickets for Queen at the 02 in January. To be honest I'd have a better chance of having dinner with the Queen in Buck House!

On Ticketmaster and set up to go at 9am when they went on sale, got through very quickly to where you choose seats etc, went for 2 in the 1st tier, put in anti bot words and soon through to no tickets available all within one to two minutes!

Plenty of exorbitantly priced tickets on Getmein .com though - strangely a company owned by Ticketmaster!!

It can be worth persevering with the websites. Nick Cave tickets for a Royal Albert Hall gig in May went on sale this morning and my first few tries were all exactly the same as yours. After 35 minutes of refreshing and retrying with 3 different websites in 2 different browsers I got a pair of tickets though!

I'm not one for vigilantism, but in this instance I'd make an exception.

Go through it every time with Bruce Springsteen. He deliberately holds lots back from the first sale to try and beat the touts but depends on awful organisations like Ticketmaster playing ball.
