Thurlestone is blessed with a cliff top location where the sound of waves pounding onto the rocks below is your constant companion. You can't help but be excited by the round to come. The course was beautifully presented and the greens were in excellent condition with some severe breaks. It's main defence is the constant wind which comes off the Atlantic. It takes some getting to but the trip is definitely worth it.
