Went to the local range this evening and noticed the chap in the bay next to mine had a nice looking set of clubs. A full set of Callaway RAZR Fit Woods, XF Irons, Tour Bag.

Now, I'm not a jealous man, but OMG they were nice! He'd just picked them up from American Golf today and was using them for the first time. They still had some stickers on them. This game is going to make me a poor man one day.

i found my self drooling on saturday before my lesson on the bay next to me.
a nice R11 driver and a lovely set of shiney titleist blades not sure what model but did look nice. Mind you his swing was someting i dreamt of and his bad shot was my good shot haha

This snow break has cost me a fortune!!! Thinking of banning myself from e-bay.... Just need to get out on course to play with my shiny new scotty cameron....please let the course be open tomorrow!!!

Cleobury Mortimer looks a nice track that. I follow you PGA Pro on Facebook Tim Hall his name seems a good bloke and rather amusing to say the least.

Yep Its a lovely course, in great nick, never has temporary greens. Tim's a good bloke but he's leaving us in march unfortunately, going to miss those you tube vids!!!

Ross on Wye GC its on the website now so I dont think im dropping anyone in it!!!

Intresting. Looks a nice course but no better than the set up you have at Cleo. Must have offered him a much larger retainer cant think of another reason. Have you got a replacement sorted or cant you say;) this Pro merry go round is fascinating like the January transfer window!!

Its all happened during this snow break so not sure of the reasons, he's been here 10 years mind, so might just be a need to spread his wings. No replacement yet, there is an advert on the pga website for a head pro, just hope we get someone as good!!

Right 10 years that is a long time maybe it is a new challenge he is after then. Sure you will get somebody good mate as you will not be short of applicants with a nice complex like you have. Very underated part of a Golf club the Pro, a good one is worth his/her weight in Gold. Anyway hope it all gets sorted out quickly and the newbie settles in

Fingers crossed, but Im sure they will only get someone at least as good or better, couldn't agree more with the role of the pro...there almost the lynchpin of the club.... Just hope the course is open tomorrow so I can test all my ebay purchases!!!!:whoo:

hold on, i thought this was an actual commandment of golf ! most golfers spend their time coveting our neighbours goods. we are all going to golfing hell. we will finally find our perfect swing, hell will freeze over, and we wont be able to get out because the course is shut ! TYPICAL !!

Good luck then hope the Scotty works well for you. Not had a flake of snow this entire winter so not been buying new shinies but have fallen victim to some Golf clothing in the sales. Been the best selection of bargains for a long time I think. Think the temperature are warming up for the rest of the week so you should be in business:thup:

Not playing means going to the range, where they sell shiny stuff. This winter has also cost me a fortune. Not on clubs, or balls, or any thing useful, but shoes. I keep buying more golf shoes. Back up to nine pairs. Who the heck needs nine pairs of shoes?

I do occasionally find myself coveting someone's gear especially if it is a brand new set of Mizzy blades, but I'm more likely to covet a good player's short game or deadly putting. Mr Visa will get you the former but the latter requires something more.
