This weekends medal.

Played the medal yesterday and managed to make the buffer with a nett 70. 14 points to the turn with 21 on the back nine. My round included a lost ball of the tee at the 2nd and a penalty stroke for a double hit in the rough.

All in all I was a very happy golfer with lots of room for improvement.

Anyone else get a score in a medal this weekend?

Not that Craw, there arn't any. I think the first open is at Golpie that weekend and Tains first Medal is the following week.

We had a medal yesterday. Not great, two over my handicap but we were playing on temporary greens as we'd had a heavy frost overnight.

Bit Mickey Mouse having a medal on temps really. None of our events are qualifying until the season starts though.
