The other day, Fragger hit an approach shot to a green.
The ball went short and left, possibly into deep bundu.
He played a provisional and it made the green fairly close to the hole.
We found the ball just short of the aforementioned bundu so he played it up to the green
A little thin, it whistled up the green and out the back, missing the provisional ball by a whisker.....We hadn't had time to get up there and pick it up. If it had hit the Provisional then the original would have been substantially closer to the hole.
If Fragger's original ball had hit his Provisional am I right in assuming that it's just a bit of luck and you play on as it lies...?
