What a cracking issue. Great features on The Open, a nice piece on 3 ladies from the LET, some useful instruction from Adam Scott and then on the New Golf Thinking feature on page 114 I could have sworn at first glance it was The Chippendales.

Never has there been so much beef cake on one page in a golf magazine, form an orderly queue ladies, there's plenty to go around...

Plus I think the last 2 holes are always different also, I know a few of us got caught out with our GPS's when we played it. I would like to see an ariel course view of how their playing it.

Yes I agree, the new design is really kicking in now and more importantly to me, the balance of editorials, tips, adverts etc is spot on. I subscribe to 3 monthly mags and 1 will definitely not be renewed due to a total unbalanced amount of reading material.

Think the forum page could be upped to 2 though :smirk:

There's is an ariel view in the stroke saver took me about 10 mins to work out hole 1 is being played as 3 (painful memory's of OOB!! ..... ). think they start on 16 play 18 as 2 and finish on 17!?

Just found it, daft place to put it between 9 & 10! Anyway, I think your right, the 1st is played as the 3rd & 16th as the 1st, I'm sure I finished on their 2nd right next to the practice area? Seem to remember the last 3 holes were just a bit 'up & down'.

Not quite...

The club's par-5 16th is the final hole. They start on the club's 17th, with the club's 1st hole then becoming the 3rd on The Open routing...
