This is a loooooong shot

This might not be much help, but I played there about 20 years ago on a family holiday and I believe we played a couple of times at the Golf & Country Club (although looking at the website the holes do not look familiar).

My recollections are:

1) Hire a caddy - they are reasonable, help you a lot and are good fun.
2) The ball flies longer! Take one club less was the general rule, good for the ego!
3) The general condition of the course was adequate - albeit some of the greens were silly fast.
4) There were plenty of water hazards, so you needed to be reasonable accurate off the tee.

I really enjoyed it, the caddies were fun and it added to the holiday.

Sure someone has been more recently though.

Yep played there in christmas 2009, at the Golf & Country Club. Really nice club and vast new clubhouse. Wasn't very busy when I went which was nice, lovely weather to. However drainage on the course is dreadful after heavy rain (which happens quite often) it took a couple of hours to drain away. I would also suggest booking with the hotel you are staying at (that is if you are staying in a hotel) as I gained notable discount by doing so and free transfer to the club. Overall I would defiantly recomend a round or two there, as it was a very good course with excellent facilities.

ps. When i went there wasn't any caddies but buggy hire was compulsory
