Some things that can be placed in either category are Madonna, Audi Quattro's, the cane and wooden rules to the knuckles, ouch. Oh, and perms, yeuch.

Discipline in schools - can't knock it, still feel the whelts
Rozzers and miners scrapping - dad was a miner, remember it well
Maggie (controvertial choice) - hate her, hope she rots in hell
Early U2 pre Josuha Tree - good
Clare Grogan (Altered Images) - ohhh yes
The Tube - loved it
The Young Ones - still a classic
