Well maybe not hurt but, finally, after 34years of close calls, today on the 11th at Runcorn 130 yards wind into off the left, a flighted 8 iron, homing in all the way, and I have it, my first hole in one!

So happy that it was properly struck, just as I wanted, to a green where the bottom of the flag is visible from the tee so I could see it drop.

Hopefully the floodgates are now open :ROFLMAO:

Well done. For a few rounds you’ll now be expecting one every time you play a par 3 😁

Congratulations!

I can only imagine how you must have felt.

Started playing in 1970 and I'm still waiting. Any number of near misses but still no luck so I can only look on with envy.
snap! Unfortunately. But there's still time; and the willingness and ability are still there.
