Currently I game an Ogio Assassin cart bag. It is a good bag and has been abused a fair bit over the last 2-3 years. It is starting to show its age and a few odd rips (but mostly internal). I am sure I can get thru this season without too much damage.

But starting to line up my ducks and start researching new bags. Currently looking at Clicgear B3 (I use a Clicgear 3.0 trolley) but open to suggestions. Criteria
  • 14 full way divider (not fussed about a separate external putter well)
  • Waterproof (yup, need to escape the English weather)
  • Space
  • Weight is not the primary issue, as it will ride on clicgear
  • good looks (suitable for a over 40s, beer bellied and balding bloke)
  • Budget <200 (lower the better)

Is the B3 waterproof? another one that comes to mind is the Ogio Aquatech Golf Cart Bag... any others that should be considered for the long list...

B3 is NOT waterproof, but does come with a waterproof over cover and the pockets are a bit small compared to some although arranges the clubs well. I've got a Sun Mountain H2NO which is very good, one of my regular partners has the new Callaway waterproof cart bag and that looks better.

Oh dear.. that is a shame... will rule it out. I am not the best when it comes to putting a waterproof cover. Looks like it will make a quick exit from the list... that is a shame. Will look up the H2NO and Cally

The B3 is showerproof, it's hard to explain, but mines has been soaked several times but the water never penetrated inside the bag, it's made from a material that is like a rain jacket the water just sits on it but falls off when your moving. It comes with a pull out rain cover that's a PITA to fit. Only issue I have is there is not putter holder separate from the rest of your clubs.

I have the ClicGear B3 bag (in the lovely Black/Orange colour) to match my ClicGear 3.5 trolley and can say it is a most excellent bag.

As Alan above states, it is showerproof and I can confirm that I have played in some terrible conditions and water has never soaked through. The water just runs off it :-)

I believe it matches all of your criteria ... in my humble opinion you cannot go wrong

C130 (and poss other Sm's) is designed for storing upright on buggies - the top slopes the other way, which if used on a trolley as designed puts your driver etc at the bottom with your irons banging onto the shafts....

The Sync model is meant to be very good and avoids the problem mentioned above as the top is flat

I am thinking of purchasing Powacaddy bag with base locking system. I am unsure how this will tie up with my dated p/c trolley with flat base.
